CDRD HANDED OVER LOCALLY DEVELOPED DRONE JAMMERS AND DIGITAL MOBILE RADIOS FOR PARLIAMENT SECURITY
The CDRD handed over indigenously built 20 numbers of Mobile Radio "CREEPER" and two Drone Jammers for the Parliament Security on 25th November 2021. The Secretary of Defence and Secretary of State Ministry of National Security and Disaster Management, General G D H Kamal Gunaratne (Retd) WWV RWP RSP USP ndc psc Mphil, handed over the equipment to the honourable Speaker of Parliament, Mr Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena. The Secretay General of the Parliament, Mr. Dammika Dissanayaka, Director-General of CDRD Major General Renuka Rowel (Retd) RWP VSV USP ndu USACGSC, Air Vice Marshal MDAP Payoe RWP, RSP, USP, MSc, ndc, psc and some of the senior officials of the parliament and CDRD were present on the occasion.
