PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROL TRAINING WORKSTATION
Electrical New Design Center (ENDC) of SLN has successfully designed and introduced a Programmable Logic Control (PLC) Training Workstation for training purposes and R&D experimental works. This workstation will provide detailed training on industrial PLCs and HMIs. Specially designed input and output modules are provided with necessary safety arrangements to avoid damage to equipment or user during operation by inexperienced users or students. Input and Output modules allow users to connect the relevant field component with specified PLC input or output with the help of patch chords. This makes the whole system flexible providing necessary ease of operation. The PLC and HMI Training kit is provided with Castor wheels and mounting arrangement. The kit is a completely mobile unit which can be mounted on a rigid base when required. The total project cost is approx. Rs. 0.5 million and nearly 60% less costly than prevailing PLC Training Kits available in the market.
