NAVAL DOCKYARD TECHNICAL CONFERENCE 2023

Naval Dockyard achieved another milestone by conducting the first ever Naval Dockyard Technical Conference with the theme of Shaping the Future through Technology, Trends and Insights at Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda Auditorium, Trincomalee on 23rd September 2023 with the participation of more than 80 technical officers and over 400 technical sailors, under the leadership of Commodore Superintendent Dockyard (East), Commodore (L) LMH De Silva, USP. The Technical Conference was graced by the Commander Eastern Naval Area Rear Admiral PS De Silva, USP, ndc, psc as the Chief Guest.

This very first technical conference at Naval Dockyard was spanned to an extensive spectrum of topics, reflecting the dynamic nature of technical fields comprising Marine Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Hull Engineering and Naval Architecture, Civil Engineering and Information Technology. The event was a spearhead for young engineers and technicians to steer future innovations/ inventions through the modern technology to achieve excellence in their field of interest.
