I graduated from Sir John Kotelawala Defence University in 2006 with a second lower class Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. From the day onward I have served in the capacity of an Associated Engineer, Senior Engineer, Probation Lecturer, Head of Department, Area Engineer and Deputy Director Electrical to date for approximately 16 years in the field of practising engineering. Presently i am holding the appointment as the Deputy Director Electrical in the Sri Lanka Coast guard

• I was appointed as an additional engineer to the Head of Electrical Department at Kotelawala Defence University as my first appointment on 02 November 2006. I was assigned to conduct classes for the Officer under trainees in the subjects of basic maths and lab practical’s. I was fortunate to work with different departmental staff that provided me with so much of opportunities to focus on higher studies.
