An Aeronautical Engineering officer in Sri Lanka Air Force with over 16 years of experience in aeronautical and mechanical engineering, including aircraft maintenance, aircraft and component overhauls, fleet and HR management. I have worked on almost all categories of Ariel platforms owned by SLAF, such as fixed wings (attack and transport), rotor wings and UAVs. Further, have worked for the general engineering branch as a Mechanical Transport Officer and O I/C of special/heavy vehicles of the Command Reserve. Presently, I hold the appointments of Officer Commanding Propulsion Systems Engineering Section, Officer Commanding of Aircraft Component Repair and Overhaul Section and Officer Commanding Special Projects at the Aircraft Engineering Wing of Sri Lanka Air Force Base Katunayake.
