I am Chamath Egodage from Ambalangoda. I enlisted as an apprentice Shipwright Artificer in 2012 and was commissioned as an Acting Sub Lieutenant in 2022. I obtained a Diploma in Marine Engineering (Ship Construction and Naval Architecture) from INS Vishwakarma (Indian Navy Shipwright School) in 2016. My previous appointment was as Hull Engineer (Refit II) at the Naval Dockyard, Trincomalee. Since October 2024, I have been serving as the Hull Engineer (Outfitting) at SLNS Dakshina. I have successfully completed a four-year full-time Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree from the University of Azteca, Mexico.
