I’m Squadron Leader Suresh Dheerasinghe, Commissioned Officer and an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer by profession in Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF). Being a Passionate Aircraft Engineer, I always embracing challenges and believer in the power of possibility and own capacity as my highest potentials. As an aircraft engineer, I am driven by my unwavering passion for aviation with 13+ years of experience in the SLAF , I have developed a strong technical expertise in aircraft maintenance of aircraft fleet and specialized in the maintenance of Bell 206, Bell 212 and Bell 412 helicopters. Throughout my career, I have been involved in various aircraft engineering activities including line maintenance of aircraft, base and depot level maintenance, technical planning and spare management, Technical crew management, technical forecasting & trend monitoring, Non-destructive testing and evaluation, failure investigation, new innovations, research and development and considered as my key competencies and potentials . These experiences have nurtured my problem-solving skills, adaptability, and resilience, allowing me to thrive under pressure and find innovative solutions to complex challenges. I am a firm believer in the power of possibility. I approach every task with a positive mind set, constantly seeking opportunities to push boundaries and surpass expectations of my organization. My ability to think outside the box, coupled with my attention to detail and commitment to excellence, has consistently contributed to the successful completion of projects any given task as well as new research outcomes to my beloved organization.
