I'm Nirmal Dhanuddhara Hiripitiya. I'm from Homagama. I've studied at Thurstan College. I've joined General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University on 17 September 2012, and I've followed followed Aeronautical Engineering for four years. I was commissioned on 14 December 2017. My initial posting was No 4 VVIP Helicopter Squadron at Sri Lanka Air Force Base Ratmalana, and I've served 2 1/2 years as an Engineering Officer. Thereafter, I was posted to Sri Lanka Air Force Station Katukurunda for the appointment of Mechanical Transport Officer for 1 1/2 years. Then, I held the appiontment of Officer Commanding Ground Armament at Armament Repair and Overhaul Wing Sri Lanka Air Force Base Katunayake for more than 2 years. I'm currently posted to No 111 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron at Sri Lanka Air Force Base Vavuniya for the appointment of Officer Commanding Maintenance.
