I am a native of Gampaha and studied at Bandaranayaike Central collage, Veyangoda. Successfully completed National Diploma in Technology (NDT) in Marine Engineering (03 year full time Course) at University of Moratuwa. Enlisted to the Sri Lanka Navy on November 2002, as a Hull Engineer (Rank of Sub Lieutenant) under Direct Entry scheme. Completed basic Naval training on May 2003. I have Performed duties as a Hull Engineer in various establishment of the SLN, since May 2003. Presently I have performing duties as a Senior Hull Engineer in Northern Naval Area.

• 01 year working experience as a Junior Marine Engineer (GRP Boat Building) at Neil Marine Company (Pvt.) Ltd., Negombo, Sri Lanka (May 2000 – Aug 2001)
• 01 year working experience as an Asst. Engineer (Hull repairs) at M/S Ceyline Engineering Services (Pvt.) Ltd. Kelaniya, Sri Lanka (Sep 2001 – Oct 2002).
• Hull Engeneer (SL Navy) - From 2003 - up to date

• I have been commended for excelling in manufacturing of own mould for SLN to construct Inshore Patrol Craft, by the Commander of the Navy in year 2009.
