I was enlisted to Sir John Kotelawala Defence University in 2001 as an officer cadet and followed the degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (DS) and secured the degree in 2005 with a class. Thereafter, on completion of Electrical Engineering Specialization Course in Valsura, India, I assumed duties as Electrical Engineer of Sri Lanka Navy. I have undertaken several appointment in the field of electrical and electronic engineering as an engineer, senior engineer and CLO. Apart I have served at Faulty of Engineering, KDU as a lecturer and Course coordinator at NIT. Further, I served onboard Fast Missile Vessel SLNS Suranimila as Electronics warfare /Weapon maintenance officer and presently undertaking the appointment of Senior Electrical and Electronic Engineering onboard SLNS Parakramabahu (Advanced Offshore Patrol Vessel). Further, I have been undergone several short term course of electrical and electronic engineering at local and overseas.
